I was in Walmart today...

I was so excited when I went to walmart today with my best friend and we saw Bead Star in there...I said, "I'm in Walmart!"
My friend replied, "I know I'm in here with you." She saw the magazine too, she was just being silly.

I won first place in the stones category, and we have no local bead store. So, I was so happy to see the magazine I'm in...in a local store! :) It really made it real for me!

Hopefully no one took my picture for that customers of walmart site...

I'm a 2009 Bead Star Winner!!!

I've kept quiet for 6 months...and it's hard for me to keep quiet for 6 minutes dangit! I won first place in the stones category in the www.beadingdaily.com Bead Star Contest! My winning piece is now in the Bead Star magazine with directions on how to make it! There are 44 more gorgeous pieces, with directions! :) My necklace will be auctioned off on ebay in March to raise money for the American Heart Association.

Wow, it's been a while!

Wow, it's been a while since my last post, hasn't it? I've been too busy stressing over job hunting and bills to post anything new...still hoping to find a job soon. In the meantime, I just made this lovely new cuff bracelet for my etsy shop!
